Learn about our signature events below and be sure to come experience them for yourself!

Game show social

The Game Show Social occurs annually at the start of the semester to mark the beginning of our fall events. Attendees come to meet new friends while eating free dinner provided by APASA and playing games. Teams compete in a series of game-show styled activities in hopes of taking the crown home and winning prizes!

night market

One of our largest events of the year, APASA Night Market, serves to mimic the well known night markets of Taiwan and 626 Night Market. With an attendance of over 1,000 people from all backgrounds, Night Market is an exciting event of food, entertainment, performances and games! APASA assembly organizations run booths with various activities such as origami making, mahjong, gonggi, and many more where attendees can earn tickets to redeem prizes.

cultural art expo

The cultural art expo is an event where artists of all medium come to display their work. The artists themselves are showcasing their work and therefore can give a more in depth explanation of the meaning behind their pieces! There are also different interactive booths where attendees can produce art of their own!

speakers event

Our speakers event is where we collaborate with other committees, typically USG and Speakers Committee, and invite an APIDA influencer to come speak at USC! In the past we have had Ali Wong, the Shib Sibs, Hasan Minhaj, Constance Wu, and Alan Yang come and share about their experience about being APIDA in media.

Community dinner

Sit down and get to know your community by coming to our APASA Community Dinner where we invite a collection of APIDA trailblazers in a myriad of fields including entrepreneurship, nonprofit advocacy, medicine and more to share their experiences over a meal. This event is an opportunity to network with APIDA professionals, learn how they applied their identities to the work they currently conduct and get inspired for future professional endeavors.

apasa’s got talent

APASA's Got Talent showcases the diverse and amazing talent of the APIDA community at USC. Guest celebrity judges are brought to give tips to performers and choose a winner at the end of the show! Previous judges have been Dominic "Dtrix" Sandoval, Megan Lee, JamieBoy, and many others. Got Talent is an amazing event that allows APIDA students to take on the main stage and earn the recognition that they deserve.
