APAHF Extravaganza!!

Earlier this month, USC APASA kicked off our annual Asian Pacific American Heritage Festival (APAHF) with our signature event – APAHF Extravaganza. To promote the festival, we invited Kogi BBQ Truck, student performers, and of course all of our wonderful students, to come by Tommy Trojan and learn all about the festival and what to expect in these upcoming months!

With performances from USC Haneulsori, Traditional Chinese Dance at USC, Leo Xia, and the USC Trojan Bhangra Team, the event kicked off with a bang as a huge crowd formed to enjoy the show. Students lined up for their delicious tacos provided by Kogi BBQ, as well as for the awesome APAHF swag that we handed out! Check out some of the APAHF items below, and maybe you can grab some at our next events?!

We also kicked off our photo campaign, where we gave students the opportunity to “discover their voices” and to say what they use their Asian Pacific American voices for. You can check out my photo below – but an album on the photo campaign can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1061837650514173.1073741861.525442104153733&type=1&l=12066eeb5f
